The School Competition List is not a study guide and should not be given to students for study purposes. 

Students who are preparing for classroom-level, grade-level or a school-wide spelling bee should prepare using the School Spelling Bee Study List (450 words).

Students who are preparing for bees that take place after a school-wide bee should prepare using the current edition of the Words of the Champions study list (4,000 words).
