Saptarshi has been a top finisher in many chess tournaments. He enjoys playing piano and violin. Math is
his favorite subject in school, and he was on his school’s Mathcounts team. His favorite sport is soccer.
Although he spends much of his free time watching television, he greatly enjoys reading. Saptarshi tied for
27th place in the 2004 national finals.
